Know Yourself

This is where everything begins and where most physicians have never actually stopped to reflect. You've spent a decade or more becoming a high-income earner, but have you ever sat down and asked yourself who you actually are outside of work? What do you value most when no one is watching and nothing is expected of you?
This pillar starts with your core values, or the non-negotiables that define how you want to live.Is it freedom? Family presence? Adventure? Legacy? Security? Service? When you get honest about what truly drives you, financial decisions stop feeling overwhelming because you have a personal filter to run everything through.
From there, we go deeper into personal identification, understanding your relationship withmoney, your risk tolerance, what "enough" actually looks like for you, and what you want your day-to-day life to feel like at every stage of the next 20 years. Not just retirement. Right now, in five years, in ten.
Only once you've done this internal work can you build a fulfilled life blueprint that is genuinely yours ,not a template, not what someone else's success looks like, and not the life you defaulted into after training. Because the biggest financial mistake a high-income earner can make isn't a bad investment. It's spending years building the wrong life really, really well.
